Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 July 2026
Welcome to True Colours Community. These Terms of Service govern your membership, access to the True Colours Hub, participation in live gatherings and use of our website and related services.
By purchasing or using a membership, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. About True Colours Community

1.1 True Colours Community is operated by Spritely (Pty) Ltd, trading as True Colours Community (“True Colours”, “TCC”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1.2 True Colours provides an online educational and developmental membership using the Enneagram, reflective practice, live teaching and facilitated community conversation.
1.3 The membership includes monthly Discovery Sessions, monthly Fireside Chats and access to supporting material in the True Colours Hub.
1.4 These Terms are governed by applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act.

2. Eligibility and member accounts

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to join True Colours.
2.2 You must provide accurate and current information when registering and making payment.
2.3 Your membership and login details are personal to you. You may not share your account, login details, session links or paid content with another person.
2.4 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

3. Membership options and payment

3.1 Monthly membership

Monthly membership is paid in advance and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
The current monthly fee is displayed on the website before purchase.

3.2 Twelve-month membership

The 12-month membership is a once-off payment covering 12 consecutive months of access.
The 12-month membership does not renew automatically.
The 12-month membership does not represent the full duration of the developmental journey, which may continue beyond 12 months.

3.3 Payment processing

Payments are processed by PayFast or another payment provider identified at checkout.
By selecting a recurring monthly membership, you authorise the payment provider to process the applicable recurring payments until the membership is cancelled.
We do not directly receive or store your complete bank-card details.

3.4 Failed payments

If a recurring payment fails, we may temporarily suspend access while reasonable attempts are made to resolve the payment.
We will restore access once payment has been successfully received, subject to the membership still being active.

3.5 Continuous Membership Price Guarantee

3.5.1 The membership fee that applies when you first join True Colours will remain your membership fee for as long as your membership remains continuously active on the same membership option.
3.5.2 Future price increases will apply only to new members and to former members who cancel or allow their membership to lapse and later choose to rejoin.
3.5.3 A failed monthly payment will not immediately affect your protected rate, provided the outstanding payment is resolved within 14 calendar days of notification.
3.5.4 Members on a 12-month membership will retain their protected 12-month renewal rate provided they renew before the membership expires or within 14 calendar days after the expiry date.
3.5.5 If you cancel your membership, allow it to expire beyond the applicable grace period, or have your membership terminated for a material breach of these Terms, the price available at the time you later rejoin will apply.
3.5.6 The price guarantee applies to your existing membership option only. If you change from monthly to 12-month membership, or from one membership tier to another, the price applicable to the new option at the time of the change will apply unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3.5.7 The price guarantee does not apply to optional assessments, individual sessions, retreats or other services purchased separately from the membership.
3.5.8 We may change the membership price for new members at any time. Any change required by law or a compulsory statutory charge will be communicated clearly before it takes effect.

4. Membership access and programme schedule

4.1 True Colours ordinarily meets online from 8:00–9:00 PM SAST on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
4.2 Dates may occasionally be adjusted due to public holidays, facilitator availability, technical difficulties or other reasonable circumstances. December dates may be moved so that gatherings conclude before 16 December.
4.3 We will give members reasonable notice of material scheduling changes.
4.4 New members may join during the developmental journey and access previous Discovery Sessions and supporting resources in the Hub.
4.5 Access to the True Colours Hub and its resources continues for as long as your membership remains active, unless a separate written arrangement applies.

5. Discovery Sessions and Fireside Chats

5.1 Discovery Sessions

Discovery Sessions focus on teaching, reflection and developmental practice.
Discovery Sessions may be recorded and uploaded to the True Colours Hub through an unlisted or private video-hosting service.
Members will be informed when a session is being recorded. A member who does not wish to appear in a recording should keep their camera and microphone switched off or notify Celesté before contributing.

5.2 Fireside Chats

Fireside Chats are facilitated discussion and integration gatherings.
Fireside Chats are not recorded so that members can speak more freely and the personal nature of the conversation can be better protected.

5.3 Use of recordings

Recordings and session material are provided solely for members’ personal use.
You may not download, reproduce, screen-record, copy, forward, publish or share any recording or membership material without prior written permission.

6. Cancellation and refunds

6.1 Seven-day cooling-off period

You may cancel your membership within seven calendar days of joining and request a full refund.
This contractual refund policy does not limit any additional rights you may have under applicable law.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to connect@truecolourscommunity.com.

6.2 Monthly membership cancellation

You may cancel a monthly membership at any time through PayFast or by contacting us in writing.
Monthly fees are paid in advance. After cancellation, you will retain access until the end of the month for which you have already paid.
Except where required by law or provided under clause 6.1, no partial-month refund will ordinarily be issued.

6.3 Twelve-month membership cancellation

You may cancel a 12-month membership by providing at least 20 business days’ written notice.
Where applicable, any refund for the unused portion may be reduced by a reasonable cancellation charge permitted under South African consumer law.
Any charge will take account of the period already used, the value already received and other relevant circumstances. It will not be calculated in a way that unlawfully prevents you from exercising your right to cancel.

6.4 Cancellation by True Colours

We may suspend or terminate a membership where a member:
  • materially breaches these Terms;
  • seriously or repeatedly breaches the Community Guidelines;
  • harasses, threatens or endangers another person;
  • unlawfully shares confidential or protected content;
  • fails to remedy a payment default; or
  • uses the service for unlawful purposes.
Where reasonably possible, we will notify the member of the concern and provide an opportunity to respond or remedy it.
Immediate suspension may be used where necessary to protect members, confidential information or the integrity of the community.
If we end a membership for reasons unrelated to the member’s breach, we will refund any applicable unused prepaid membership fees.

7. Community conduct and confidentiality

Members agree to:
  • treat other members with dignity and respect;
  • refrain from harassment, bullying, hate speech or discriminatory conduct;
  • speak primarily from their own experience;
  • respect differences in identity, belief, background and perspective;
  • protect the confidentiality of information shared by other members;
  • avoid recording, photographing or taking screenshots of private gatherings or discussions;
  • refrain from spam, unsolicited promotion or selling;
  • avoid posting unlawful, threatening or infringing content; and
  • follow reasonable facilitation instructions intended to support the group.
What another member shares during a Fireside Chat, in the Hub or in a private community discussion must not be repeated outside the community without that person’s explicit permission.
While we take reasonable steps to establish and enforce confidentiality expectations, we cannot guarantee that every member will comply. Members remain responsible for deciding what personal information they choose to share.
We may remove content or restrict participation where reasonably necessary to uphold these guidelines.

8. Educational nature of the service

8.1 True Colours is an educational and developmental community. It is not group therapy, medical treatment, emergency support or a substitute for individual counselling, psychological, psychiatric or medical care.
8.2 Although Celesté is a Registered Counsellor and Psychometrist, participation in True Colours does not create an individual therapist-client or healthcare-provider relationship.
8.3 Enneagram teaching and related material are provided for reflection and personal development and should not be treated as diagnosis or clinical assessment.
8.4 Members remain responsible for their decisions, wellbeing, boundaries and participation.
8.5 If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis or require urgent support, you should contact an appropriate emergency, healthcare or crisis-support service rather than relying on the community platform.

9. Privacy and personal information

9.1 We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection law.
9.2 We collect and use information reasonably required to:
  • administer membership;
  • process payment;
  • provide platform access;
  • deliver live sessions and resources;
  • communicate with members;
  • respond to enquiries;
  • protect the community and our services; and
  • meet legal and administrative obligations.
9.3 We may use authorised third-party service providers for functions including payment processing, online learning, video conferencing, video hosting, email delivery and website analytics.
9.4 Some service providers may process or store information outside South Africa. Where applicable, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that cross-border processing complies with POPIA.
9.5 We do not sell members’ personal information.
9.6 You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information where permitted by law by contacting connect@truecolourscommunity.com.
9.7 Certain information may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes after membership ends.

10. Intellectual property and member content

10.1 True Colours retains all rights in its original teaching material, recordings, written content, graphics, worksheets, branding and resources.
10.2 Membership gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access and use the material for your own development.
10.3 You may not reproduce, adapt, sell, teach from, publish or distribute our material without prior written permission.
10.4 You retain ownership of content you create and submit to the community.
10.5 By posting content in the Hub, you give us a limited permission to store and display that content within the community for the purpose for which it was submitted.
10.6 We will not use a member’s words, photograph or story as a public testimonial without separate permission.

11. Third-party platforms and availability

11.1 The service depends partly on third-party platforms such as MemberVault, Zoom, YouTube and PayFast.
11.2 We will take reasonable steps to provide continuity of access but cannot guarantee that the website, Hub, live sessions or third-party services will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
11.3 We may replace a third-party platform with a reasonably equivalent service where necessary.
11.4 We are not responsible for temporary interruptions caused by events or systems reasonably outside our control, but we will make reasonable efforts to communicate material disruptions and restore access.

12. Important limitation of liability

Please read this section carefully. It limits certain claims that may be made against True Colours.
12.1 True Colours does not guarantee any particular personal, relational, spiritual, professional or emotional outcome.
12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, True Colours will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from membership or use of the content.
12.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate direct liability arising from the membership will be limited to the membership fees paid by the affected member during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:
  • a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded;
  • liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct or fraud;
  • liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit; or
  • any remedy available under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.

13. Changes to the service or Terms

13.1 We may reasonably update the programme, resources, platform or these Terms to reflect operational, service or legal changes.
13.2 Members will receive reasonable advance notice of material changes by email or through the True Colours Hub.
13.3 Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or benefits already paid for where doing so would be unlawful or materially unfair.
13.4 If a material change substantially disadvantages you, you may cancel before the change takes effect, subject to applicable law.

14. Complaints and disputes

14.1 Please send any complaint first to connect@truecolourscommunity.com so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve it.
14.2 We will endeavour to acknowledge the complaint promptly and respond within a reasonable period.
14.3 Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from approaching an applicable consumer-protection body, ombud, regulator or court.
14.4 Consumer disputes may, where applicable, be referred to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission. Privacy complaints may be submitted to the Information Regulator.

15. General provisions

15.1 These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement relating to membership, together with any specific pricing or offer terms displayed at checkout.
15.2 If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
15.3 A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.
15.4 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
15.5 Any legal proceedings will be brought before a court or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction, subject to the consumer’s statutory rights.
